DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 工作職責(zé): 1.Provide high quality medical and surgical care to surgical in- and out-patients 2.Perform independent hepatobiliary surgery on privileged cases in consultation with the Chief 3.Work closely with the Chief in supporting departmental goals 4.Perform daily patient rounds for his/her own patients and/or other patients belongs to the surgical service according to the schedule proposed by the Chief. Review subjective and objective findings including labs, diagnostic testing, vital signs, wound status, and drains. 5.Provides patient education related to procedures, medications, therapeutic goals, etc. 6.Meet standards of professional conduct and courtesy 7.Appropriate code, document and submit charges in a timely manner, establish and maintain records, reports and statistical data 8.Equally share call/coverage duties with surgical colleagues to insure JIH has 24 hours’ surgical coverage 9.Collaborate with other consultants in the establishment of diagnoses and treatments of therapies and discharge needs both in the inpatient and outpatient setting, Assist other consultants on surgical cases when necessary 10.Work at maintaining a good and a cooperative working relationship with physicians, departments and the other hospital staff 11.Work on quality improvement activities within the department in collaboration with other surgical team members 12.Provide administrative support and committee assignments as requested 13.Participate in fellow training when requested 14.Attend MAO-physician meeting, departmental meeting, grand round, committee meetings and other relative meetings when asked for 15.Daily inpatient ward round for his/her own patients EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 經(jīng)驗(yàn)，技能及能力要求： - Completed degree from and accredited Chinese or international medical university - Completed full training in general surgery/hepatobiliary surgery and accredited training program either in China or abroad - At lease 10 years’ clinical surgical experience
